My favorite memory is the minute I Walked in the door as a freshman until the minute I walked out as a graduate.

Classes with Fr. John Foster; Senior Chandler,!Fr. Jess, Mr. Miller “Allen? …. Wrong!”; Camaraderie with members of our cross-country team ( Marty Miller, Mike McGavick, Joey Devine, Mike Meany, Greg Wheeler, Doug Stewart, Peter Topalian, John Swenson, Joe Ghiglione) and the kind but stern coaching from father Fr. Sullivan; As seniors “teaching in the Collegio program to freshman as with Geoff Thompson and Matt Hoover; Seattle Prep dances; Jerry Tiberio‘s GTO; with the liquor tap installed in the back seat ; Streaking Preppies around Holy Names Academy; getting clobbered by the lights of Anthony Branham, Jim Doogan or Jim Dwyer during freshman, football practice; the smell of the locker room; Brother Jellison yelling at Cooper; the sound of grinding gears of the small International bus as Fr. Sullivan drove our team to cross country meets; the prospect of “hacks” for undesired behavior or the certainty of JUG; wearing and being proud of my letterman’s jacket; the arrival of those intrepid first girls at Seattle Prep. The whole place became civilized.

Favorite memories: 1) During my entrance interview, Fr. Brands(?) addressing my stepfather (wearing his 101st Airborn dress uniform), "Mr. Campeau you understand that we will take any disciplinary measures we feel warranted?" "Yes sir." Gulp; 2) Baseball: gym -> parking lot -> muddy park -> Red Man; 3) Fr. Small fronting me in the hall my senior year and asking, "Where you goin' to school?" Prep and that changed my life.
